Hendo helped exstensively in launching the Avalaunch token for David.
"Having beared witness to innumerable launches and further observed the "down only" phenomena that defines crypto cycles, the negative impact of market makers can not be overstated. The source of this destruction is the call loan option. Market makers are presumably there to help teams by creating a tradable environment for their token. Yet, it is routinely an exploitative relationship wherein even well-funded, pedigreed teams see their assets run into the ground. Market makers borrow a percentage of supply for an agreed upon term, run up price with thin liquidity, sell into manufactured momentum and watch the token price fall thereafter. At some point, they will rebuy the tokens at a massive discount, return them to the team at the end of the agreement and say "thanks for playing." I've seen this play out far too often and interacted with probably fifty market makers at this point. Hendo at Artis is one of the very few market makers that is an actual ally to the project. Early stage companies as tradable assets are fraught with peril, as founders are ill-equipped to navigate the road in front of them. The difference between product market and capital market fit is stark. Working with unrelentingly optimistic founders requires the patience of a monk, an ability to break complexity into digestible parts and present often unfriendly realities. Hendo absolutely excels at this and I will reiterate that it's no small feat to get through to individuals who are wholly convinced that their project is somehow immune to market forces. To architect a vision in the presence of unprecedented volatility is one thing; to execute upon it another. Aligning parties with conflicting agendas requires political acumen, quantitative analyses and a feel that only comes with experience. In the years I've known and interacted with Hendo, he has all these attributes in spades and I can not recommend him strongly enough."
