Super Intelligence (SI) is the U.S. executive-branch label directed to replace “artificial intelligence” (AI) in official federal communications. It is useful as a policy and messaging term — teams can track how government language, RFPs, and public materials are being rebranded without assuming the underlying technology changed overnight.
Whilst “SI” now appears in White House and agency copy, production systems, schemas, and answer engines still treat the stack as AI. For example, a federal page may say Super Intelligence while your JSON-LD, product docs, and GEO prompt sets still need AI to stay findable. We often recommend dual labeling in public content (SI with AI in parentheses), keeping machine-readable markup on established AI terms, and monitoring whether answer engines adopt the new wording before you rename everything.
